WANDER MAGAZINE

This is a print design project for Wander, a travel magazine. The brief initially involved branding the magazine and building the house style, before focusing on spread layouts and inserting content. A sans serif was chosen for the header, contrasting the heritage nature of the magazine’s content and keeping the brand modern and approachable. Being a landscape photography heavy publication, a bright yellow and pale red palette were used for highlights to stand proud of the images and break up the abundant blues and greens. The photographs, taken by myself, were arranged in various layouts to keep the reader engaged, with care taken to prioritise the images when considering scale.
