

LOVE IT WHEN YOU CALL
This project was a response to a Google and Hoffintz Milken Center for Typography brief for the D&AD New Blood Awards, titled Typographic Notes: The Empowerment of Music. The challenge of the brief was to find a song or genre to represent a cause and use typography to bring it to life. Love it when you call by The Feeling, was chosen to highlight the importance of speaking through our voices, specifically over the phone in improving young peoples mental health. A bold and bright colour palette was used to appeal to younger audiences and catch attention. The typeface gives a digital feel with its squared forms, bold weight and sans serif.
